Part of our tour was riding the cable car, he let us out at the top of California street and would meet us at the bottom. He said the ride would take 10 minutes. .lol well he didn't realize there was a funeral down that street and it was blocked off. We started down the hill, then we were stopped because the funeral was just ending. So we waited for the whole procession to go by. So instead of a 10 minute ride it was 30-40 minutes. Oh well it was fun.

In the Golden Gate Park is the Hammon building where we could go to top floor to get a view if the city. .really awesome

On Saturday we toured San Francisco. .it was really a great tour thru the KOA of Petaluma. We left the campground at 9am and didn't return until 7:45. The guide had grown up there so had alot of great stories and knew how to get around.

The pieces of glass were smooth. .from when garbage was dumped in the ocean and now the waves have washed it back to shore

We left the campground at 8 hoping to get to Fairfield and get a motel for the night. Traffic on 101 want too bad but when we got on 37 it went from 3 lanes down to 1. In California motorcycles can split the lanes so we drove on shoulder for several miles the cars inched along. Finally got to 80, stopped at Fairfield. .sold out. So started calling ahead to next town finally got to Vacaville at 10. The tour guide had given us all a loaf of San Francisco sourdough bread. .so that's our supper for the night. ...it's really good.
